I always find it fascinating. I will 100% be back to visit the Sail Loft - I'd come now if I could. I'd put SMM up on my Top 5 places to visit in the UK - we loved it, so keep up the good work.National Trust Sconeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01097903022761280477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6954034038612600052.post-25964374696810226592016-04-22T04:53:06.736-07:002016-04-22T04:53:06.736-07:00Thanks for the lovely blog and we are so pleased t...Thanks for the lovely blog and we are so pleased that you had such a lovely visit with us. In response to your query regarding the provenance of the scones - we bake our scones fresh everyday in the Sail Loft restaurant. However, we do buy in the scones (baked fresh everyday), from a bakery for the Island Cafe. This is purely due to the high volume - last year we sold over 24,000 scones in the Island Cafe. We would love for you to come back one day and sample one of our home made cream teas in the Sail Loft. We pride ourselves on the high quality and standard of food that we serve in both our catering outlets.
Thanks again for the kind words and we wish you well on your future scone inspired adventures!
St Michael's Mount Freshwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08122761976928942453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6954034038612600052.post-12550201012784021522016-04-20T13:10:41.254-07:002016-04-20T13:10:41.254-07:00I've been to the one in France, but never that...I've been to the one in France, but never that one!Simon Douglas Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16331409652996600049noreply@blogger.com
